3 must-see places to visit on Fall

The colors of autumn are here to delight anyone. This is the perfect time for walks where mild temperatures allow this type of activity. The weather is pleasant (not too hot, nor too cold) and the colors red, orange and yellow are everywhere.

Here is a list of 3 places in the United States with beautiful landscapes to visit in the autumn.

1 – Connecticut, USA

According to USA Today if you’re visiting Connecticut from early October to November and want to soak up the views of fall, jump into your car and take a drive through history. The 32-mile jaunt along Route 169 will feel like a journey through the colors, sights, and sounds of old New England. Beginning in Lisbon and ending in Woodstock, this historic scenic byway is a unique way to enjoy Connecticut. Other fall foliage loops and drives are also ready to explore, and a great way to spend a couple of hours while taking in the season.

2 – North Carolina, USA

North Carolina is also a great place to visit on Fall. “Reds and oranges will dominate the tree color change this year in North Carolina,” said Kimberly Johnson (Patch Staff). The best time to see the autumn kaleidoscope is coming up, according to TripSavvy. “Inland areas of the state can expect fall foliage peak time around mid- to late October. The coastal regions of North Carolina typically hit their peak from late October to early November,” it said.

Note: This interactive fall foliage prediction map is another fun way to see what leafy changes are happening in your state and when. But be warned — it’s pretty addicting.

3 – New York – Central Park, USA

Opened in 1857, Central Park is one of the most famous sites in the Big Apple. Located in Manhattan, the park is a great place for recreational activities for citizens and the city’s guests.

The park is especially beautiful in autumn – just take a look at those colorful leaves, foggy air, which makes the skyscrapers wallow in it and look enigmatic. It is about a time to go and see it!
